The current cover of Science Magazine (Nov 8, Vol. 342) shows Raman images of carbon isotope–labeled graphene domains which were generated with a WITec alpha300 Raman imaging microscope.
The cover images illustrate the influence of temperature on graphene domain growth and are part of the scientific paper “The role of surface oxygen in the growth of large single-crystal graphene on copper”. The authors are scientists from well-established research institutes in the USA and Singapore and experts in the field of graphene research.
